GROUP LESSONS

Swimmers entering school age group lessons must meet the following requirements:

  1. Turned 5 years old prior to the first day of the lesson.
  2. Be able to listen and follow directions in a group to provide a safe learning environment.
  3. Meet all prior level advancement skills to register in a specific group level. 
  4. Payment received prior to the first lesson.

3 Porpoising; front kick, glide and recover; back kick, glide and recover; dolphin kick, glide and recover; seesaw body movement; sitting on the kickboard sculling 45 minutes 4 to 1
4 Rollover - front to back, back to front; finning and sculling; side-glide-kick; crawl armstroke; backwards bobs; somersaults forward and back 45 minutes 4 to 1
5 Crawl stroke with breathing; back crawl stroke; double somersaults; handstands; horizontal head first sculling 45 minutes 4 to 1
6 Extended freestyle swimming; tread water; jump in and tread water; sitting dive; kneeling dive; standing dive 45 minutes 4 to 1
7 Breaststroke kick; breaststroke swim, butterfly arms; butterfly swim 45 minutes 5 to 1
8 Freestyle with bilateral breathing; turns 45 minutes 5 to 1
9 Sidestroke kick; sidestroke swim; elementary backstroke 45 minutes 5 to 1
10 Extended swimming and technique refinement in all major strokes and turns 45 mintues 5 to 1
